The $250,000 Grant Will Support Archway’s Supportive Services Work Through Increased Community Engagement
DENVER (June 3, 2024) — Archway Communities (Archway) has received a grant from the Colorado Health Foundation to continue expanding its community relations and engagement. Archway is committed to elevating lives by providing access to services needed to thrive.
“Access to stable, affordable housing is a fundamental social determinant of health, serving as a foundation that so many other things can build upon,” said Laura Brudzynski, COO of Archway. “This investment from the Colorado Health Foundation will help our teams integrate the voices of our residents and other community members with lived expertise into our engagement strategies and work at Archway Communities.”
This grant will enable Archway to expand its presence and model of service-enriched affordable housing in a thoughtful and strategic way that reflects the racial, socioeconomic and historic factors that contribute to Colorado’s housing affordability crisis and its impacts on health care.
Currently, Archway hosts 10 community events annually to learn about needs and build relationships with tenants. With this grant, Archway will have the ability to host up to 60 events and engage 400-600 individuals. With each development project, Archway hopes to engage and foster meaningful connections with hundreds of community members.
For 50 years, Archway has been developing affordable housing, managing properties, and providing supportive services to individuals and families.
